Nancy's Background - Born and Raised in Albuquerque

I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1964.  I attended A.P.S, except for 3 years of Sandia Preparatory School, and graduated from Highland High School in 1983.  I am the daughter of Ellen Evans and Paul S. Cronin, an attorney in Albuquerque. I grew up around my father’s law firm and worked as a runner (take documents to Court or around town), receptionist, legal secretary, law student clerk and eventually a lawyer.  My father would take me to depositions, meeting with clients, doctors, and other lawyers and it is during that time that I learned to love the law.

Nancy's Law School and Early Legal Work

After graduating college in 1987 from the University of San Diego and law school in 1994, from Oklahoma City University.  I was fortunate enough to be able to work with my father at Duhigg, Cronin, Spring and Berlin.  I eventually became a Partner at that firm in 2003 and worked there for 27 years representing injured clients in a variety of cases such as medical malpractice, personal injury, motor vehicle collision, semi-collisions, dog bites, workers’ compensation, social security disability, employment discrimination and contract disputes. I have argued in front of the New Mexico Supreme Court in Wagner v. AGW, 2005-NMSC-016.

Today's Cronin Law Firm

With the launch of The Cronin Law Firm, LLC, in 2022, I wanted to bring more of an emphasis in my legal career on mediations. I was fortunate to attend the Pepperdine University School of Law, Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution Program that is the standard of excellence in preparing effective Mediators.  I still represent injured people and their loved ones in medical malpractice, motor vehicle collisions, semi crashes, slip, trip and falls, and dog bite cases

“I retained Nancy Cronin to represent me after an accident in which a motorist hit me with her vehicle while I was standing in a parking lot. I wanted some reimbursement for medical expenses as well as the pain I suffered as a result of her negligence.

Nancy was very responsive to my situation and managed to extract a settlement that was reasonable and to my liking. Nancy is professional and responsive, and I would not hesitate to retain her again if the need arises.”

“I met Nancy Cronin about 3 years ago when I needed a lawyer for a malpractice claim. I had another attorney, but we parted ways. She took my case, although she had very little time to get it filed. Nancy filed it and started working. She worked extremely hard and kept me informed on everything she was doing. If she had an opinion, she always included me in what she was doing.

She did a wonderful job for me, and I would recommend her to anyone who needs an attorney. She is honest, truthful, and caring. I would recommend her to anyone who needs an attorney. Thank you for all your hard work.”
