Seek Medical Treatment

The number one thing you should do if you have been the victim of a slip, trip, or fall, is seek out medical treatment.  Trivializing a fall can also result in missed fractures that only reappear later.  When getting treatment, it is crucial to inform the health care provider what caused the incident.

Report the Slip & Fall

If you are at a business, you should seek out a manager or owner and make out a written report of the incident.  If there are witnesses, try to get their phone numbers and full names.

Document the scene as much as you can - take photos and videos.

Try to get photos of what caused the slip, trip, or fall.  If you can record a video that is even better.

Save your shoes and clothing

Try to save the shoes you were wearing and any clothing that was affected.
