Animal Bite Injuries
If you or your loved one is the victim of a dog bite or attack, there is no doubt that it was a scary event that can traumatize a person for life.
If you have been attacked by a dog in New Mexico, the law allows you to file lawsuits to recover compensation.
In order to prove negligence on the part of the dog owner or owner of the property where it occurred, we must prove that the dog owner must have known that the dog had exhibited aggressive behavior toward a person in the past.
If that is established, we will file a lawsuit alleging that the dog owner or owner of the property acted negligently when they failed to reasonably control their dog to prevent the dog from biting you.
Animal Bites Compensation
You generally only have three years to file your dog bite injury claims. However, proper medical attention is the most important priority, and some clients need to address this issue right away.
If your loved one or you were bitten on the face, it raises concerns about scarring and disfigurement in the future. We can assure you obtain the best possible medical care to avoid these types of damages.
These are some of the damages we can obtain:
Medical bills
Pain and suffering
Lost wages
Emotional trauma
